Patterson just said he's for campus and concealed carry.
"It's about liberty...a citizen who cannot carry a firearm isn't much of a citizen, frankly, he's a serf!"
Dewhurst, like Koinonia said, was a smug mofo. "I am who these guys want to be, therefore I'm better".
Pretty well sums up my reaction as well. I didn't like Patrick's smug answer to the question of if he felt morally obligated to pay back some of the debt that was discharged in his bankruptcy now that he is doing so well even though he was not legally obligated to do so. And I loved the observation that someone made about Dewhurst - that since Dewhurst supported term limits, why was he running for a 3rd term.Patterson definitely was straight forward with all his answers. Didn't have to think "how should I answer this to make me look good", he just immediately answered and did a good job with it.
Dan Patrick was kind of annoying at times, but he had a good closing statement. (says he also supports campus carry)
Staples was just kinda there...nothing memorable

Agreed.Patterson was the only one that didn't get into the pettiness the other three displayed..... He clearly won the debate ...imho of course...
