Digital currency is their ultimate goal, then prohibiting what you can purchase.

if you want to give away 2% of every purchase you make.

Me I don't give 2 shits if they track me buying toilet paper.
That kind of thinking is what will defeat us. I don't care if they track - but I'll be damned if I let them. 90% of my transactions are cash whenever possible - and I'll buy elsewhere if they only accept electronic payments.

I do care if they track me buying toilet paper! First it's tracking toilet paper then controlling how many cheeseburgers I'm allowed to have a week or what shows I'm permitted to view.

Don't give a mouse a cookie... you'll end up sleeping with a camel.

What'll really boil your bananas is when you learn they're now trying to tax cash-back and other credit card rewards as taxable income. Can they just not resist taxing every dollar that moves?
What if you pay one credit card with another, can we get an endless loop?
They already considered that and added incredible fees to eliminate that free money loophole. If I could have paid my mortgage with my credit card and made a few bucks I would have. You can pay your property taxes with a credit card and those jerks (at least in Collin county) have a 2.45% convenience fee on top when paying with a credit card!

Isn't this old news? I thought that the new "gun" retail code has been in use for a year or two, since FJB pushed for this. Am I wrong?
