Did this video going over assembling an AR lower without using a bunch of fancy blocks/tools. I show a few ways to do some parts, as everyone has a way that works best for them. I might do some shorter videos using blocks (Midwest Industries has I feel the best block for lowers/gas tubes).
In the description block of the video I added some advice. One good thing about buying a lower, is it’s cheap ($50.00) and you can assemble it later, also if you have a lower receiver you build, you can say it started as a pistol. Remember, any AR rifle you buy assembled is a rifle for life, unless you change it via the ATF. But a pistol can be converted to a rifle and back, per the ATF. Also if you buy a lower, and laws change, most laws grandfather what you already own.
