Because 40 year old bolts and/or welds busting loose couldn't possibly create puffs of rust, dirt and debris. There were no "little explosions", there were "violent failures". These are the same idiots claiming the WTC was a "controlled demolition", as if somehow all the employees wouldn't have noticed all of the exposed supports with explosive charges attached to them that would have required.
Yep, they just can't except it was an accident. It's like serial Liars they can't help themselves. Again it was a ship that weighed 95000 tons and it lost power. The bridge wasn't built to withstand that much force.

    OK, granted. . . . .

    But,

With my little retrospectoscope: Why in the Hell didn’t the bridge supports have protective pilings like ours along the Gulf Coast have ?

Supposedly, pilings became more common place after the Florida Sunshine Skyway Bridge disaster in 1980...the Baltimore bridge opened 3 years prior. Plus at that time, cargo ships were much smaller so I assume the designers assumed it was low risk.

Protective pilings are easy to place, independent of bridge construction. I see them being replaced periodically; with no disruption to either bridge or marine traffic.

    Helotes!
Perhaps but the conspiracy theorists have had a pretty good track record post 2020

Really? Please provide a list with documented evidence that "conspiracy theorists have had a pretty good track record post 2020!"

And spare us the "elections were stolen," 16 Jan/Qanon and anti-vaxxers claims, as none have ever been proven!

They are about as valid as the faked moon landing, black helicopters, chemtrails, Obama's birth/religion theory (although Michelle is most definitely a man in drag!!), the government made 9/11 happen and New Coke!

Even Jeffrey Epstein's alleged "murder" has yet to be proven!

We are still investigating the fluoridation one!

A coagulation of errors. Photos this morning show abutments around the bases. Probably not big enough. Kinda reminds me of a 'Road Kill' episode. Maybe it'll run, speeding, duct tape. 'OK guys, 2AM, nobody around, lets haul ***. Opps! More duct tape.

USS RONALD REAGAN: Displacement: 101400 tons

    <>
    USS America: Displacement: 44,971 tons

We can all use the ends of the spectrum to make a point. And he didn’t say US carriers.

For full size, USS Enterprise: 94,791T full displacement.

Have been waiting for someone to claim space lasers, with doctored vid showing photo shopped proof.
One moron on X showed the video when the Ukrainians hit the bridge from Crimea to Russia with a drone boat, claiming that it was FSK bridge.
Those lasers are only used to start wild fires in Maui, the cattle fire a few months back and the West Texas fire. TikTok said so. Stop spreading misinformation, Lol
