Discharged yesterday afternoon. Two different antibiotics to take and on a "low residue" diet for 10 days or so.

I hope it all works out for you. Needless to say, follow doctor's orders to the T, no matter how you might be inclined to disagree with some of them. Then after you recover, come back and correct every letter-of-the-law poster that comes along. Believe it or not, most here appreciate your wisdom.
