$199 at academy. Doubt you'll find a used one for a better price.

Havent seen a $200 10/22 at Academy in 1.5+ years. Can get them at GTs for reasonable.

Interesting though. Maybe a 10/22 retains its value very very well?

Im looking for a used one at a used price or one that has a nice scope or some upgrades.

I'm sure you prolly know, but Academy has em new for $199

Have been to 5 different Academies probably a total of 50 times in the past 2 years. Haven't once seen a 10/22 for sale, and I asked every time. Not only did they always say they didn't have one, they usually said they hadn't received one in ages. So where are you seeing these unicorns for $199?

I take that back; I did see the Lasermax version, but it was like $349.

Last week I posted a link to brand new 10/22s for $180 shipped from TargetSports USA. They went quickly.

I saw one at the Academy on SW Military Dr. two weeks ago; also saw (2) at the Academy in San Marcos about 4-5 weeks back (when ever I had lunch with Itchin). Walmart in Boerne had one a few months back (last time I was there) about the time I saw it, 15 min. or so later, someone was buying it. They are "unicorns" as of late, that's a fact.

I hit up academy on a Friday and ran across 2, bought one, the second was sold on Saturday evening.
So in Thursday sold out by Saturday.
That's the wood stock 200 dollar one.

They had other variants pretty much every other time I was there.

Just hit em up every few days till they show up

GT's had a used take-down for $309 on Saturday. I saw a basic used 10/22 there a couple of months ago, priced at $209, I think. I thought about getting it as a project gun but it was pretty rough cosmetically.

I've had an itch to build one that I can't shake. I've been kicking myself for not jumping on that Kidd receiver somebody had for sale here a while back.

I bought mine used about a year & a half ago for $167 total price. Wood stock and SS barrel. The receiver and slide has a little eye sore on it. I call it character. Had a tasco scope on it and see thru rings. It was a no brained for me. Shoots straighter than me.
