I've been tossing around the idea of building a .22 caliber AR Pistol. Similar to the HK 416 22LR Pistol or the S&W M&P 15-22 Pistol.
What can be used to "plug" the buffer tube threads on the back of a lower receiver? I considered modifying a buffer tube but I would rather use something that looks nicer.
This is just a "for fun" build because my research has shown that it's far less expensive to just buy the complete pistol The H&K is only around $400 through CDNN Sports. https://www.cdnnsports.com/hk-416-22lr-pistol.html?___SID=U#.Wuegypch2M8
So, this build is going to be done with left over parts or stuff I can get cheap.
I already have the CMMG .22 LR conversion bolt kit. This is probably the most expensive item on the build.
(btw, does anybody have a cheap 7.5" barrel and/or 7" handguard?) lol
