Alligator holster - 1911 double stack

I have 4-5 Tucker Gun Leather holsters, one of which is used for my EDC G19 (but as that one is a IWB hybrid, it doesn't apply to your question). The others, though, are OWB HF models, and all are beautifully crafted.

Hers's one of them (before this BHP of mine was fully customized by Novak):

That is a nice holster but I don't understand the extra piece of leather the concho is attached to, is that just for looks?

The belt runs through it approx. half way on height, does it ever feel unstable, like it wants to tip over?

Not that I will use mine often but how is your ED holster holding up? Pic?

Hit up Vance - txisafetyguy - he's done a few custom holsters for my friends and myself. Did gator skin holsters for me and a buddy, and did a sexy black lizard skin rig for another friend.

I did, within a day or 2, no reply.
