The other day it was my turn to go to the DMV. Got all signed in and filled out the paperwork and sat down to wait. The screen said I had a 45 minute wait.
Just sitting there checking out the people coming and going. The staff were busy answering questions and telling people where to go. From the back comes out an actual DMV Officer. He walks around checks out the lobby and waiting area, just kinda being seen. He might have been waiting to give a driving test who knows.
Anyway he sees a little old lady standing in the lobby looking lost. He walked directly over to her and laid on the charm. Walked her over to the sign in screen and got her started in the que. While she was filling out the sign in he went got her paperwork found her a pen and a clipboard. Went into the crowded waiting room found an empty chair picked it up over his head and carried it to the front and put it at the end of the isle. Went back to the sign up screen and escorted the lady to her seat. He showed her the tv where the que list was displayed and how the stations were numbered. Then he was off to save the day for someone else.
Now all that is pretty impressive in my book. Made me proud of my Texas home. Funny her number was the next number called at desk #1.
