Alright, watching now, BP up. They started out kinda ok, but started blowing it with the "no background checks required at gunshows". <--- LIE

The Aurora victim interview was a nice touch.

The ballistics expert from the Mayo clinic = shock value for the damage the small bullet-high velocity does..."it's specialize round"

Here we are at Aurora again...mom of another victim...more Aurora story "Maybe if the shooter had more handguns, more people would be alive" [instead of an AR15]

Oh hell, James Yeager and his classes

Dark vision promoted by the big gun lobby, particularly the NRA. Preppers, survivalist...etc

James Yeager with his online rant about killing people

Tom Diaz interview minimizing and condescending gun owners, who is 'they'. Story turning into "crazy gun nuts" against the government. Great Yeager is a 'window into America's gun culture' and not in a flattering way.

    A Girl and a Gun

Sullivan (designer) & Armalite to Colt - M16

    Daniel Defense commercial

    Hyatt Gun Shop

Cody Wilson/3D printing (Did he just call the dude an anarchist?) Yes he did. Wants no govt oversight on firearms. Hauser/ATF very concerned about "ghost guns". Why do you want an untraceable firearm? Criminal intent says Hauser.

A weapon design for fields of war

    tbc

Conclusion - scarey hit piece. Typical. Expected.

This is why I changed it. Plus I didn't feel like yelling or throwing something at the tv ;)

I had to fight myself. I dvr'd it and started 20min into it. So I FFWD through that Aurora crap until it popped to the next piece (The Dr, then the Mom). I didn't listen to their spiel, just noted who they were. I wanted to note the points that the show made.

Overall hit piece. The interviewer (didn't catch his name) asked questions in a combative anti-gun way. It really left no discussion, just immediately set him against who he was interviewing.

I just watched it. It wasn't too bad. Some of the questions you could tell had some attitude behind them, but it gave our side a chance to answer questions like the other side would ask without worrying about an argument starting up or words being twisted. Both sides seemed to be covered.

It wasn't as bad as I thought, as I expected it to be 50 minutes of Dianne Feinstein and Piers Morgan, and 10 minutes of Alex Jones yelling at people and Yeager saying he will kill people. Of the people on our side, only a few were portrayed as lunatics

The second half the reporter showed his true colors. He is seriously anti-gun.

I don't doubt that, I listened very carefully through the entire thing. I have to say, it was a pretty fair journalistic report. He pushed a few times but overall I came away feeling pretty good about how we were treated.

No, I can honestly say our side was treated much better than I expected overall. It really could have gone much worse.

I don't know what Yeager expected but he shot himself in the foot and should have known they were going to talk about it. He knew he screwed up the day he did that and had to do some backpedaling a couple of times.

Don't fall for it. They've trained us that unless it's not at the extreme anti it is acceptable ;)

You're correct here, they are still ultra libs. If it was truly open and unbiased then the second half would have gone better. I really expected them to show more stuff like Yeager's rant. I expected for our side to be portrayed as Neanderthal's with an IQ of maybe 5 or so. The second half did piss me off but not as badly as I expected.

You know we are not going to catch a break here simply because the media itself is anti-gun, anti-freedom and generally want a socialist country. What I really don't understand that if we do sink that low, they lose their 1st amendment rights also and the govt will dictate what they can and can't publish. That will also mean no freedom of the press. Maybe they are too thick headed to understand this.

Just watched it and I have to say I was surprised, as anti-gun as the reporter obviously is, the report was not as biased as I figured it would be.
