My Galaxy S4 has a damn good camera. I would like to buy an actual camera eventually for sexy gun-porn pictures though.

Don't worry about a dedicated cam. My S3 takes great pictures as well. The key with cell phone cams is to not use the built in flash, but use other lighting. When I take gun porn pics I set up the subject on a desk and get two desk lamps on each side. It works so well that even the details on an EBR stand out quite well.

I'm not a fan of shiny barrels on Glocks, but nice job with the actual work. I agree-that's better on a 1911. I may have to give it a shot on mine.

Since Charlie never uploaded the pics I texted him, here you go for the 1911.

Beware stripping Glocks can sometimes reveal very unevenly shaded, un-shiny metal underneath, and it's impossible to tell how they'll come out until you're done. Glad yours came out well.

You're right. When I first started stripping, it was very uneven but >2 hours of polishing and I took it down as evenly as I could. Thanks!

This is true. The phone light is too bright and drowns out most pictures.

    Gracias!

I like dat! Have you thought about trying it on the mags?

    Nope. But I have now!

    I have plastic mags :banghead:
