Roughly 1/3 full. I can load on a trailer. Not sure what it's worth, new it would run roughly 3200 bucks. Lets say 1000 bucks or make me an offer I cant refuse. Gun stuff works in trade as well.

    mantawolf,

There are TWO ways to safely cut into a propane tank.
    (Both require emptying, of course.)
    1. Pumping the tank full of water before cutting into it
    and
    2. Replacing the air in the tank with a gas that won't explode when combined with the propane that remains in the pores of the metal. CO or Helium.

My late uncle & I, years ago, made BBQ pits out of assorted tanks up to 1500 gallon capacity.
(The big pits are usually for cooking whole steers.)

    yours, satx

My dad used to build big trailer smoker/pits in the 80's-90's. Still one of them sitting on the side of Leon springs dance hall. Think that was a four door.
