Took delivery today of 270 rounds of Korean M2 ammo.

Has a little oxidation and impressions of steel links.

Cleans up real well with a little elbow grease.

A few nicks and dents here and there, but not enough to cause problems.

The craziest pic of ammo I've seen in a while was what was almost definitely 8mm Mauser (it had silver tips on the bullets, except the tracers which were red/silver) in 1919 links... and the pic looked like it was taken in Iraq.

    Figure that one out!

Adolph Hitler invested heavily in Iraq to counter British influence there.

He courted the "Mufti" of Iraq, and armed many tribes loyal to the Mufti.

It is no surprise that remnants of his investments would be found in Iraq after our intervention in 2003.
