Change of plans guys. My jobsite is rained out and the crew is repairing storm damage till next week. That means I either sit in an RV all week or go home. I'm going home. That puts Sloppy out of a ride to the meet, unless someone else is close enough and offers him a ride.
I've already broken the news to him and apologized.

I'll be there. I just won't be within 150 miles of White Settlement.

The cold I hate. Rain doesn't bother me. They have awnings over a couple of places. Specifically the rifle alley range and another over a close up alley. It's enough to stay somewhat dry. Besides, it's neat as hell hearing a bullet smack rain drops going down range. Pop, pop, pop, smack, pop.

As for mud....The parking lot is black dirt and the range is road base.

Yep, that stuff stuck like super glue was mixed into it.

All of the tires looked like that had poorly done 2” brown retreads on them.

Don't read too much into the mud thing. They have a rock covered parking area by the main office. The dirt parking lot is just closer to the shooting areas. It's about 50ish yards to the range from the office. It's not bad at all.
