    Because of the shape of the caprock, storms usually pass to the south or to the north of where I am. Odessa, about 15 miles away, often gets more rainfall then here. Watching the storms go around here on all sides can be pretty cool.

    Sure.... big town of Fluvanna, TX. Used to have a biker bar and post office. We don't have either now. Town is really thriving.

    Very neat how the caprock aids in storm development and pattern change.
