Firefox is bloated sewage (which is very sad, as it was originally written to be fast and lightweight)

Google Chrome is (IMHO) a better alternative.

They are all flawed. I use firefox till I get pissed then chrome for a bit, then back to firefox. I use IE for the F'ing websites that only work in IE. Man I hate that.

100% linux user here, I have chrome blocking all the adds and making pages I frequent easier.

I do use IE on windows machines, only long enough to install chrome.

I think you're confusing "Chrome" with Internet Explorer and "Google" with Microsoft.

IE has been documented to send your CC Numbers and other data that have no business leaving your machine to Redmond for "safe keeping".

No other browser does this.

I buy a laptop or PC, use IE to D/L the Firefox and Opera .exe files then reformat and do a fresh install of Win7. Put the flash drive with FireFox and Opera files on the HDD and install. IE never gets opened on any of my machines.

+1 And if the user doesn't have all updates to the OS, a variety of additional security holes are left open.

IE is an integral part of windows.

You can't "delete it" w/o screwing up the OS.

Oh NO! Bring out the tinfoil hats. IE still has the market cornered. I only use it for sites that "only" work there (and yes there are still quite a few business sites that do).

I prefer Firefox, but Chrome isn't bad.

I'm not confusing anything. Google is the new Evil Empire. They have all your data and share it with the NSA and "others" like the Illuminati.

Microsoft's evil-ness is so late 90's. All they do is give money away to poor kids in Africa and put out shitty browsers...annoying yes, but hardly evil.

They all have their flaws. On some web sites you kinda have to use IE to get it to work right. I mostly use Chrome, as I find it's the best behaved, but yesterday I upgraded (free) from Firefox 4 to 5. It seems to run faster than IE or Chrome.

Microsoft really isn't evil. They're just incredibly stupid. They're just so big that when they do stupid things they make a huge mess of it.
