Trying the free shit first.
I already started playing Bannerlord with the settings all the way up. It was sweet! The file management is a PITA but I saw that there are other apps that can handle that more windowsy.
I found the latest windows hyper-v activation comes with several mostly configured ubuntu's including the latest version 20. A little fiddling gets the wireless to work but nothing gets me any sound and that is with any of the several versions of "mostly configured" vm's that hyper-v comes with. Time for the oracle v'player I suppose. Thanks for the link, think I'll try that Oracle V machine to run it.
I've enjoyed running ubuntu in the windows native V machine. Lost this capability after a reload some time ago and can't seem to find the super simple installation .exe that sets it all up.
