yeah give a report on those 22lr as had heard to be quiet they have less powder so sometimes may not cycle a semiauto.
I've been shooting the regular CCI quiets for a few years. They are as advertised out of rifle. Not out of a pistol. Those he posted are suppose to cycle a semi auto action. Haven't tried them yet.
I can't seem to find the post. Can you link it please. I'm interested.Hoji did a review in his SA pistol. Crazy accurate and cycled.
Academy in Austin @ I35 &183 has a decent supply of ammo. 22, 9, 40, 223, 7.62 etc. Not at decent prices though. blazer alum 9mm $15 for example.
I know right. Everything is still double the price I paid the last time I bought ammo.I mentioned yesterday I was at academy in Georgetown and they had a TON of 223 ammo.. at 75 cpr.. They also have Monarch at 53 cpr if you want to pay insane prices. It's cheaper than that online by quite a margin.
The 9mm isn't unconscionable but it's certainly more expensive than I still want to pay.
so do you shoot steel case 223 regular? thinking have it for a just in case scenario and in the can should help preserve it a long time.Academy in Austin on oak knoll if anyone is in need

Lately I've been able to get the brass 9mm at Academy for $21.99 for a 50 round box and the other day got a couple of 150 round boxes of Browning 9mm brass for $53.99 per box.Just snagged 200 rounds of steelcase 9mm yesterday at Acedemy…$0.35/round
Was hoping to see brass at that price, but the cheapest they had was $0.55/round and up.
They had a ton of brass 5.56 NATO but too pricey at $0.65/round and up

Keep looking. I saw some 9mm brass for ~30+ per rd in the last week or two. But I've had vodak since then and can't remember where.Just snagged 200 rounds of steelcase 9mm yesterday at Acedemy…$0.35/round
