. Decent bbq in dfw is hard to find. .
Not sure if you are serious. My favorites in order:
Pecan Lodge - deep ellum area of Dallas, parking is a pain, and expect a line, but the Q is amazing. A consensus #1 for many.
Hutchins in Mc Kinney or Frisco, both are great.
10-50 in Richardson, beef rib is almost as good as Pecan Lodge.
Hard 8, pretty much every location is great, but I like to go to the Stephenville original location. The Colony and over by the airport, north of 625 and east of Bass Pro in Grapevine. Didn't know they had a Roanoake location, rarely get over there.
For consistent quality and a quick lunch I often go to Rudy's. The Rudy's Chop is greatness. All the trimmings get made into a chop you can get on a sandwich or potato. Brisket, rib meat, turkey, pork loin, its all in there and the melding of those flavors together is greatness.
If you ever find yourself east of the Garland area near Lake Lavon, Big Daddy's is good. Also a new one called Meshack's in Garland, getting great reviews, but I still need to try it.
There is a new shop headed your way in Ft Worth. Flores BBQ. I used to drive to Whitney to eat there, but they closed it and are headed to FW. Its all good, and I like the jalapeno cream corn side.
I am not an expert on the FW shops, as I rarely get over there. But I liked Riskey's both in the Stockyards and on Main. I used to hit their all you eat rib special years ago. But I don't care for Heims. It was meh. I see the four stars, just didn't care for it. Heard Angelos is good, but have not made it there. My BIL says its good.
