I recently mounted a scope on an old 10/22. I sighted it in at 25 yards. After I was done i decided to see what it would do at 100 yards. It was not the most accurate thing in the world but I quite enjoyed it and thought it would be some good practice for my son to shoot at longer distances with a rifle with such low recoil. Does have any experience with an accurate .22 out to 100 yards. I was thinking of getting one of those ruger precision rimfire rifles but am open to other options, especially cheaper ones. oh and i don't car about shooting the smallest group ever. I just want something to make a reasonable group at 100 yards for some cheap trigger time at a target past 50 yards.
