Thanks, that looks like Surplus City, one of the ones that showed up from a Google search but it shows it a little further to the west at 1101 Willow Springs Rd. That old location appears to be a tattoo parlor now!
Just to be clear, I am looking for actual dusty old rank-smelling used military surplus shops; not gun or tactical stores, or the places that sell modern airsoft or paintball gear.
Cheers! M2
Surplus city is different from the one I was thinking of. It's good, but I've never preferred it. It's possible that one shut down and is a tattoo parlor. Shame though. Thanks, that looks like Surplus City, one of the ones that showed up from a Google search but it shows it a little further to the west at 1101 Willow Springs Rd. They shut down....probay due to the high prices. There's Quantico Tactical too. It's not surplus. It's the intimate tactical store. It's located on Fort Hood street (old hwy 440). North side of of hwy 190. It's in a strip mall. There's an O-Mart (asian supermarket), a dilldo store, Big Lots, ghetto liquor store, CC's pizza, and a harbor freight. They sell it all. From Trijicon to AR parts and complete rifles. All the holsters, belts, vest, rifle cases, non military tactical clothing. Handguns.

Guns Galore has a great inventory, but I would never buy from there. I have heard the employees in there talk down to customers in the past, not to mention the number of roll eye mall ninja crap I have over heard them talking about while I browsed. I guess I'd say it's the equivalent of going to a very small gunshow.Guns Galore is also a decent place to visit if you're in town. Action Pawn at the intersection of 190 and Fort Hood street is another.

Well, they also sold to the Ft Hood shooter, the guy who shot up the motorpool, and had a guy blow his brains out in the store. So yea, I would imagine they've gotten cautious. Glad to see it paid off.Yep. It's touch and go there. They do hire some goofy phuckers.
It's more a place to handle a gun you want to buy. Then as you walk out the store. Order it online from Buds Guns for about $50-$75 bucks less. Guns Galore was the place that called the police on the soldier buying a big amount of black powder. Supposedly to fill a pressure cooker with it and blow up something on Fort Hood.

There are dildo stores there? Who knew. LoL
I've personally been on the receiving end of their mouthy attitude when I was much younger and still in the army. I remember asking about a Baby Eagle 9mm and getting an attitude. I also got a shitty attitude when I had bought a WASR10 from them. Their prices suck and they don't deserve business.
