I went to a metrology trade show in Oregon two years ago. Sharing the convention center was a conference called "The Science of Cannibis" - it was easily 2x the size of ours. The clientele was interesting because you had guys in suits selling high-end measurement stuff, and hippies in their Birks & tie-dyed shirts. There was lots of money involved.

Old, but... This is no joke. A HS friend of my daughter makes 6 figures up in CO doing just that. He was a C student I tutored. Manages a 'produce' distribution company.

I've got a cousin in California who owns/ runs a cannabis farm. She calls herself an "earth woman", is vegan and does not shave any part of her body. 25 years ago she was chaining herself in the top of redwood trees to keep them from being cut down.
