But TR is right - you'll see them for under $100 at the gun shows. Accademy and Bass Pro sell them.
I got one for my girls at Accademy on sale $98.00 out the door - Bass Pro will be a little more.
Watch the adds - they go on sale about every two weeks somewhere.
Gun show is your best bet - you can get an 'overstock' type price-deal there.

I never seem to find the gun deals at the gun show. On the rare occasions that I go, I am usually looking for accesories.

Having a boby puts the brakes on lots of weekend outings lately.

I started my former lady friend, Bonnie out with a Chipmunk Rifle. She was very small and the rifle fit her perfectly. The only problem with it was that her shooting skills took off so rapidly that she outgrew it almost immediately. In fact, she became a Correctional Officer and qualified with the 12 gauge, AR-15 and .357 magnum. It all started with that little Chipmunk.

It was a great little rifle with Walnut stock and a peep sight. Alas, both the Chipmunk and Bonnie are gone, now. I wish I had the Chipmunk back.
