    Middle of no where
    I was about to go to bed & i scanned the back by the chicken coop & seen 2 foxes on the prowl. They were no match for 17gr Vmax. I neck shot the 1st one, the second was on the run so didn't get as good of a shot...ended up with a gut shot. The 1st ones in the cooler on ice & going to the taxidermy in the morning.

    Wow that .17 does some significant damage! Didn't know we had fox in Texas; whereabouts?

    Never saw one in north Texas growing up here but about 15 years ago I saw two walking across my rural backyard. But I never saw bobcats until around 20 years ago too.
