The Supreme Court just ruled agencies can no longer interpret and extend their reading of legislation.

SCOTUS has been chipping away at Chevron almost since Day 1.

That it is gone does not prevent an activist executive branch from just doing it and waiting for the challenge in court. What this case does is remove Chevron as a formal guideline to follow in any federal court.

I’m willing to bet there’s enough “trade” organizations out there willing to take point on various issues and assist with the suits that the suits will eventually be filed. Just takes some time and the willingness for someone/business to get that ball rolling.
