A couple of his books that were made into movies, were decent movies, but IMO, no where as good as the book.
    Agreed, and not even close.

Take, for example, TSOAF (not necessarily the 'best' one, but in the top-bunch)...

Good movie, and close enough to the book that you can say it's the same story (unlike most book-to-movies), but missing nearly 80% of the nuance which made the book fantastic - e.g. both book/movie depicted a (relatively) small detonation, but book goes into background with failed multi-stage TND and a bit of the mechanics behind it; definately read. the. book.

Was wondering around prime yesterday and watched a 2011 movie "Larry Crowne."
It was just a sweet and funny little movie. No woke crap.
And Julia Roberts is in it. I'd watch a test pattern if she smiles in it.
I agree. We found it on IMDB and watched it for the first time. I thought I knew of all Tom Hanks movies, but this one was a rare find. Some good characters in it. His neighbors were a kick.

Without Remorse is one of my all time favorite books

I was really hoping that a movie would do it justice. I made it about halfway through the movie, and just walked out of the room. I didn’t even have the energy to turn it off.

I always envisioned MrClark as a larger than life Richard Marcinko.

I really wanted to see the decompression chamber interrogation.

Finally... the truth! They ruined the story, but I guess that what Drama is all about. Im not a big Clancy fan, but do enjoy some of his work. I think that was one of his best Story line that was unfortunately bastardized by Hollywood.
