What brand/type of bike you looking for?
    What is your price range?

I know a couple of people looking to sell their Harley's.
Metric cruisers. Cheap for my son, $3k. My budget is unlimited.

I'm also realizing Honda no longer makes a sport tourer and Yamaha eliminated their entire, extensive cruiser line (except a 250). I will now refer to myself as, Rumplestilskin.

    1. Plenty of good bikes on CL. Just weed out the flakes and you will find your cruiser. GL
    2. Is there a way to run a VIN and check if it is stolen? Besides calling the Sheriff's office?
    3. If you go see a bike and the VIN comes back stolen, would you report it to the authorities?

It's demand, just like autos. Asia has cut down on production and shipping. Nobody wants to carry inventory so used are high priced. Used $ changed in the 80s, about tripled.

Spring is the worst time to buy. Highest prices. Most buyers per bike. Everyone has the Fever.

Fall before hunting season is the best time. Guys are looking to covert their unused bike into hunting gear.
I would tend to agree, except the riding season in Texas is a little backwards. The spring is when we get our last rides in. Then we retire the bike for the 110F weather and dust it off in October.
