In the past I had several of the insurance plans available thru nra. After a claim wasn't properly paid, I want nothing to do with the No Ripoff Again. Their monthly magazine gets filed in trash without turning a page.

Here is new post from Bearing Arms blog

Why the NRA's apparent loss of clout changes nothing

"The organization’s power has always, ultimately, rested on the fact they represented gun owners."

I think the author's viewpoint is reflected in a number of other comments on this forum. What's your take?

I’m unable to decipher meaning or intent there.

As to “our” NRA; La Pierre MUST GO !

Wayne has become one of the most despicable characters on our current national scene.

His fortress of the “Nominating Committee” post Knox Revolution effectively insulates him from member concerns & inputs. I’ve quit voting, because voting is useless in this situation.

The left sees and understands this, and is using it against us all.

Meanwhile, many of our own Young now believe that “gun control” is about public safety.

    This can’t end well. . . . . .

If Wayne had any integrity left, he’d leave.

His continuing presence weakens our abilities to influence.
