It was a good day with friends in the piney woods. FN P90 to a 50-70 rolling block, and everything in between. How about a 300 Blackout where the whack from the target board 100 yards away was the only sound. Topped it off telling tall tales around the campfire till it started raining.

Rifle range was hopping' with old farts when I got there but they dissipated pretty quick. Great day to plink. It was a walnut and blued steel kind of day.

Fun at the range today. A 39-2, 64, and a nickle plated 581. They all shot very well. Also got to shoot a model 29 8 3/8" barrel as well,real nice. The 39 came from a forum member, it is a sweetheart of a shooter. Glad nobody wanted her, ya'll missed out.

Went to the range in a good long time recently. It’s hard to get motivated sometimes. I keep the military mindset of having it cleaned, lubed and ready to go after shooting 1 round or 300. I dislike cleaning, but at least I don’t go for completely spotless anymore.

Went to the range yesterday. Running pistol drills with my Beretta 92 clone while listening to Christmas jazz on my Bluetooth earpro.....it's a DIE HARD Christmas all around!

Went today to sight in the thermal and test out the ptr32 after a bunch of springs got replaced. Glad to say it's running like a top and going fully into battery.

Haven't been in a couple months. Youngest son, his Wfie and baby girl were up from Corpus Christi the last three days; he and I were planning on hitting the range. Too little time - too much to do. Didn't make it. I plan on getting to the local indoor range Friday.

Shot a few rounds today with one of the grandson-in-laws. He has a new S&W Shield EZ that he got as a Christmas gift from his mom an stepdad.

I shot my new to me Kahr P9 that I just traded for. Like all Kahrs it shot like a dream. I will be carrying it as soon as my Talon grips get here. And I will be selling my Kahr CW9 that I carry now.
