I have got to get to the range - indoor or outdoor - and get some shooting done. The last time I went shooting was about a month & a half or two months ago, that was to the indoor range for some pistol shooting as best I recall.

The thing is, I need to try out some recently acquired and some not so recently acquired guns that I have not yet shot. They include a Ruger Single Six convertible (acquired in December 2019) and a Ruger New Model Single Six convertible (acquired in October 2018). Both of the Rugers have cylinders in 22 LR and 22 WMR. There are also: a High Standard Supermatic Tournament Model 103 in 22 LR (bought in August 2021), two Colt Lord Deringer (sic) derringers (in 22 Short) (picked up in June 2021), and two Glock 19 GEN3 9mm pistols ( purchased in October 2021). Lest I forget, there also is a Remington 870 in 12 gauge as well (I got it in June 2021). There could be some others that I've not fired yet but the one I have had the longest of those I just mentioned, without firing it, is the Ruger New Model Single Six. I got it just over three years ago. It is not like I have an ammo shortage - it is simply that I am THE Great Procrastinator.

If I ever decide to shoot it, the Colt Frontier Scout I bought on August 2019 might have some rounds go through it. Not too sure I want to shoot that one though, it is minty.

My last range trip was August 21st. Probably the longest stretch in 8 years. Got plenty ammo, just can't get motivated. I know I need to keep up with it, but standing there shooting at paper is not as fun as it used to be. I need to shoot some tin cans or water jugs. Anything that reacts.

Steel targets are always fun imo. Repeatable with out all the work of setting and filling up cans or jugs

I used to go about every month.
Then I got utterly stupid and allowed someone to inject me with experimental poison.
I have not walked or been to the range in months. The "safe and effective" vaccine almost cost me my leg.
Recovery is slow but am hoping to go practicing at the range maybe still this calendar year.
I load my own ammunition so I don't have to worry about buying overpriced ammo (if it is in stock) but I do have to worry about finding primers.

Been 2 times this month, today included and 3 times last month. Got to keep frosty for the zombie hordes. I am not shooting as much as I was at a time. The range I shoot at is manufacturing ammo so here lately I shoot theirs and save mine. Sometimes membership has advantages.

I've gone a few times recently, and will be going again next week to get some rounds thru my two latest acquisitions. I hadn't been shooting before that since we moved down here, so it was a bit over a year since my last trip. Ammo prices and availability were a key reason for that - I didn't want to shoot up everything I had and be left with only a few magazines of carry ammo.

About an hour ago but just a few rounds to see if this new toy cycles a couple different loads.

eta: ammo is keeping me from shooting as much, reloading supplies are pricey also.
