Who’s not voting for Cornyn and why?

I know we all don’t especially like Cornyn, but are any of you not going to vote for him and why is your candidate better choice for Texas and the country?

The only commercial I've seen from MJ Hegar is basically "But muh military service."

There are a bunch of threads that mention/discuss Cornyn in other contexts - political marketing, ghost gun registration, the coronavirus response, etc. I don't see a thread specifically about supporting/not supporting Cornyn in the upcoming election.

If anyone can point me to one, I'll close this thread but for now it looks like this thread deserves a place on the board.

"I was shot down in my chopper. Another helicopter came to rescue me. I strapped myself to the skid and returned fire on the Taliban, getting our people out of danger."
I want to see the video. It sounds dramatic.

You got a choice between a defund the police, antigun, socialist democrat who is a chest thumper boaster and Cornyn. Easy choice for me... plus Cornyn is an Air Force brat (his dad is a Colonel ) and he was a judge on Texas' 37th District Court from 1985 to 1991.[3][4] He was elected an associate justice of the Texas Supreme Court, where he served from 1991 to 1997. In 1998, Cornyn was elected Attorney General of Texas, serving one term until winning a seat in the U.S. Senate in 2002. Plus I was his letter Carrier here in Austin for awhile. Was a nice guy to talk to.

As a vet myself, I'm very suspicious of anyone who is so boastful of thier service as Hegar

Yes, my thoughts as well.

I’m pretty much a Libertarian who is stuck voting Republican. I tend to just vote the straight ticket if I’m not sure about them.

The other Specific issues I really try and do my research on.

IMO, a vote for anyone not named Cornyn is a vote for a Dem. Dude has zero chance of winning.

Cornyn is a turd, but at least he's not a commie.

Well, she’s parlayed her little tale into a book published by Random House with a film option. She seems like a glory whore looking for the money and a political seat at the national level sure does enable that.
