March 19, 20th there are gun shows in New Braunfels and in Gonzales. I have to work the 19th and can only go to one of the 2 on the 20th. I've been to the New Braunfels show a couple of times. Not too bad but the parking is terrible. I've never been to a show in Gonzales. Which one should I go to? Not looking for anything in particular, just like to prowl the tables.

Well, not being familiar with the Gonzales Gun Show, I looked it up; and when I saw this, I knew there was no way in hell I would go!

I went to the Gonzales show last time and there was no such restriction in place, but the guns how really sucked for variety and price. None of the vendors were willing to bargain at all. I was there for three hours because I made my way around the tables at least three times slowly to see if I had missed anything I "just had to have". I could have walked out in less than an hour and seen everything once. In that three hours I saw only three gun buys....however there were two jewelry and ladies handbag tables that were making a killing!!! I will say that if you are a Glock lover, the prices were way to high, but the selection was very good. I am not a Glock lover.

Go to the one you choose.

If it was me with that choice to make, I'd pick the one I had not been to before but what you pick is up to you.

well, I went to the New Braunfels show. It was ok but not great. For me, it was not a waste of $10 to go spend a couple of hours around like minded people prowling through table after table of gun stuff on the off chance that I might find that gem I was looking for. This one wasn't the greatest but I'll still call it a win.

I was at the NB Premier Show as well. Was disappointed when I first walked in...$10 for a small auditorium? Then I realized there was a second room about the same sized attached. I saw bargain and overpriced accessories. Firearms were mostly overpriced, but I saw a few that were competitive with online.

I agree with you, like I said earlier "it wasn't a bad way to spend a couple of hours". I just wish there would have been a little better variety and a little more of the old and vintage stuff.
