I never been able to get my foot down the neck of Tony Llamas. I went to Leddy Brothers in San Angelo to get custom made boots back in the 70s. The guy said he couldn’t make any to fit cause my feet are built like bricks.

Yep maybe a super thin leather veneer over man made materials.

The welt ripped from the leather outsole of my Justins; they only lasted 1y and 3months; never buying Justin again!

That looks like PU (polyurethane) leather. Are Justins now made off-shore, as in China or India?

My Justin workboots were made in China. They're now 6 months old & still good.

20190301_141804.jpg I've been wearing my current Justins for years. Just picked up a new pair at Tractor Supply.

That looks like "bonded" leather like they use for "leather" office chairs and "leather" belts. That's what happens to bonded leather.

I always buy my cowboy boots from small town mom and pop owned western wear stores.

Combat/duty/tacticool/(whatever you want to call them) boots typically get bought online depending on who has what I want for the cheapest price.

I quit western boots awhile back...and I haven't regretted it.
