Comfort, Q, steak, seafood, Mexican, Chinese, you get the idea . . . 'bout anything. :green:

Bonus points if they don't rush you in & out.

I love Ralph & Kacoo’s and the Longhorn Steakhouse. Oh, and Tokyo’s Japanese Steakhouse. Ask for Dax.
I go to R&K's in Lukin on the odd occasion. The food is always good but the wait staff is hit & miss.

Texas Roadhouse beats Longhorn overall but, LH wait staff always lacked in my experience.

    I'll look into Tokyo's, thanks.

The last Monterey House is in Beaumont. The only BBQ place I know of there is Patillo's; I haven't been there. 4.0 on Google, so it can't be too bad.

Judging by the street view, I likely wouldn't stop at Patillo's but they've been Q'in since 1912 so something must be right. Hope to get out there soon, thanks.

Forgive a slight topic creep, does anybody remember Camp’s Junction outside of Tyrrell Park?

I just talked to a buddy that moved to Beaumont @8yrs ago and he gave a few recommendations. 1st one got the nod for non rush, others are in random order.

    Tia Juanita's fish camp
I've been to the Lufkin and Henderson locations and both had good food.
