Then stop seeing them as assets. They are hobbies...

Even so, it depends on when you catch a car in it's devaluation. For desirable cars there is a point when the depreciation bottoms out for a bit, and then value starts to tick back up again.

I went to the last classic race/concours held in Steam Boat in 1998. Lots of awesome cars were there. I wonder if Umberto ever beat the Bugeyes with his Fiat Abarth. Every kid in the paddock had on an Umberto's Racing Stable teeshirt on. Alfas are cool, but I grew up with English cars and I'm still partial to them. Maybe a 1965 Giulia Spyder would be nice. Coolest car I ever drove was a 1965 Lotus Elan. If it had been mine I still wouldn't be able to get a drivers license. Okay, okay, the Alfa coupes are pretty.

Wish it was. Buddy of mine took the picture during a trip to Cape Cod. I did the editing. Its a beauty.
