    I took out my new to me GP100 just now and it shoots so well.
    Groups are a little left for me and high but very nice
    Also took out my S&W 686 and the SP101 that I carry alot

    Nice out..low 70s and north wind

    That particular version of the GP100 (6-inch with rosewood inserts) will always be sentimental for me because it was the first centerfire handgun I ever shot. My dad loaded it up with 38spl and after a few cylinders he let me touch off some 357mag. It was quite the step up from 22lr.
    Ready for some 44mag?

    What grips are on your 686? Hogue? Been looking for a set of Rosewood grips with checkering for my 686.
    I cant remember but I got them from a guy on Ebay about 8 years ago that made grips.
    I don't remember them having a name brand on them but they fit perfectly and are good quality

    I have several sets of grips from Exotic Grips by Esmeralda. A variety of different woods and designs are available.
