My wife and I had dinner at The Ashen Rose in Greenville. Fish and chips for her. Spinach and berry salad with grilled chicken for me.

She brought home some typical WF deli offerings after work. Some kind of butterfly looking pasta and mushrooms, the almighty grilled asparagus, zuchini and some sweet potatoes with walnuts (say what ?). And my favorite bottle of Italian red. I may have to eat healthy during the week thanks to WF being right next to her job, but weekend on the way and it's mine....

Wife made mozzarella and spinach stuffed shells with marinara yesterday to enjoy tonight. It’s best after been cooked and an overnight rest in the refrigerator.

Really not sure my buddy was talking about going to the farm to work on the roads. I really think it’s more about pre scouting archery season. He said he was going to go by Ralph’s, then come here. I was thinking about a pasta salad but he is picky about lots of things that I’d put in it.

Not sure if he’s going to run Ralph around on errands and grab something to eat or not. Have the feeling that he will nod out at Ralph’s or here. If he makes it here and is hungry we will go down to the sales barn for a burger.

Brisket today. Brisket quesadillas tomorrow. Smoked turkey quesadillas are excellent, but my favorite is brisket quesadillas.

Better half makes homemade tortillas.

Rainy day here, so, I think beef and beans again... I made another batch of cinnamon rolls, this batch with pecans and raisins...
