Shrimp and grits. Grits are simmered in chicken stock with crispy bacon crumpled , parmesan and American cheese and chopped green onions.

Crock pot chuck roast with carrots and boiled red potatoes served with gravy from the roast.
Chuck roast was on sale this week, $4.99/lb. Great price.

Smoked pulled pork butt in grits with homemade picante sauce. I had to take my shirt off for the sweat that's coming.

Friday night cheat night on my diet!

Tonight, the wife treated me to Whataburger!

Went to MOD Pizza last night. The leftovers will probably be my lunch and dinner tonight.

Crockpot chicken and vegetables last night, cooked to suit SWMBO and MIL.

Even the dark meat was drier than West Texas in July ... ugh.

Tonight, gonna turn it into a soup seasoned for a Cajun's palate, and they can like it, or do what I did last night ... leave it.

Wanna bet they'll wonder why they didn't listen in the first place ...

Found a brand of New York hot dogs I never heard of, got the all beef one. Really good on Brookshire bakery hot dog buns.
