Four nice huge chicken thighs, Shake & Bake coated, some canned green beans and a seasoned rice mix. Probably a celery stalk or three as well. It's not dinner at the Ritz but it will do.

ETA: Do not know why but I looked in the crisper drawer in the fridge and found a bunch of asparagus that I bought a couple of days ago and had forgotten about. Cooked them instead of the canned beans, much tastier. The beans went into the tortoise enclosure, they love canned green beans.

Smoked a fresh hog-leg on Sunday with roasted zuccini and cucumber & onion salad, then did a corned beef on the pellet grill to use for sandwiches last night.

I prefer mom and pop. IHOP will do in a pinch.

Some of the smaller family owned diners and restaurants are good, but in a town you have never been to before, you might not know which are good or where they are located.

Many of the bigger chain restaurants will usually put them pretty close to the largest grouping of hotels and motels for convenience and easy to find.
