Ive wanted one of those rhinos for quite some time.
While they are fun to shoot all in all I feel like they aren't a great value. The overall quality doesn't fit the price in my opinion.

The innovation is great but Chiappa didn't do the gun justice.

If I can make the next Meet I will have it with and you can see for yourself.

Don't know that I've ever seen a revolver before with a barrel that lines up with the bottom chamber.
That design has been around a long time.

For a really funny looking pistol, try a semi-auto with the barrel axis down at the center of the palm. The Soviets fielded such pistols for Olympic Rapid Fire events back, IIRC, in the 1950s. The ISU, of course, promptly outlawed them because they were too much of an improvement, having essentially no muzzle flip at all.

Thank God we have governing bodies that ban innovation.

I hear you. When the Soviets made free pistols using electric triggers where the pistol was fired via a switch held in the off hand, the ISU instantly banned those, too. Buncha killjoys...

STI Duty One with the frag front & back straps & slide treatment.

    Plastic & Fantastic (it's a 45ACP 1911 though)

Might have to give you the "Ugly" on my Papoose. I have 2. This is the prettier one.

Not ugly but definitely strange by common standards. I have a couple of French sliding breech double barrels, a Darne and a Charlin. Pull a toggle on the breechblock and it slides back extracting fired shells and leaving chambers exposed to be reloaded. Next are some Swiss straight pull bolt actions, K 31, and Schmitt Rubin. Lastly and strangest looking is an 1869 Swiss Vetterli, a bolt action repeater. It has a big spring housing at the rear of the bolt. I understand if the spring is broken a Volkswagen valve spring can be used as a replacement, it's that large.

Love those. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em.

I can't hit a barn with a shotgun even if I'm standing inside but if you brought a Darne to the family reunion I'd be willing to make a fool of myself shooting it.
