Like others, a mint Thompson submachine, either the 1921 or 1928 variant, preferably made by Colt. Stick mags please. Lots of them.

But if I had to use my own funds, an HK P7M8 for a decent price.

As long as the OP is footing the bill, I'll take a McMillan TAC-50C :

Oh, and please put a Steiner M7Xi IFS scope and Nighthunter S35 thermal sight on the top rail
and I know you wouldn't forget, but just to be thorough, an Elite Iron Alpha suppressor

My dream gun is the unobtainium russian PSS semi auto silent pistol.

I don't know why, but ever since I saw a video of it on youtube I fell in love with the concept and gun itself.

I recall the US developed a S&W revolver that also used a captive cartridge system that was ultra quiet (like under 120 decibels even inside tunnels) for tunnel rats to use during the Vietnam war.

That would be second dream gun which is also "unobtainium."

I once handled one from the ‘20s, but with a drum magazine. It was much heavier than I thought it would be.

I'm there, and aside from another S/A FBI model 1911 to replace the one my nephew traded me something for, there isn't anything else I can think of.
