    Found this in the driveway. It looks like a solid rubber bushing of some sort. It has an outside diameter of 2 1/4", inside diameter of 1", and a width of 1 1/4".

    Your insights would be appreciated.

    Agree. Check yer suspension. No visible damage to widget, I suspect there is a bolt missing somewhere.

    Too "new" looking to be part of the suspension. Stock rubber bushings are smooshed and cracked.

    What do you have? Four wheels or two wheels?

    Check your body mounts, and in general any place that ties two pieces of steel together, including engine, trans, transfer case, and suspension mounts. It does look pretty new though.

    Could be anything. Even something not car related. But if you are sure it is from a car I too think it might be a body mount.

    1" ID sounds kinda big for a body mount. Sounds big for a shock mount too. Have you had work done lately? Or any company with a lift kit on thier truck?
