    When I carried revolvers on duty, the reload is strong side cause you dump with your weak hand.

    Autos the reload is always weak hand carried bullets back or down. Anything else is asking to give valuable advantage to that which is trying to kill you.

    I agree....but with one exception. If you're carrying a small auto where your grip hand can interfere with the magazine's insertion (i.e. LCP II, P238, P938, etc.). I borrowed a trick from my revolver reload technique.....

    When slide locks back on empty, strong hand ejects mag while weak hand grasps slide from top. Strong hand retrieves mag from strong side carrier or pocket. Strong hand inserts mag, pushing home forcefully to lock. Strong hand gets shooting grip, then weak hand cycles slide. Return to shooting position if necessary.

    Not a perfect solution....but it works for me.
