CEL came on yesterday. It seems I have a faulty cam position sensor. I guess I'll be replacing this before the week is out. Other than that I've sanded my headlamps to get rid of oxidation and buffed some stuff.

How's everyone's set of wheels doin'?

Make sure it didn't just come unplugged or a wire chaffed through.

Dropped in an LSX with cam, intake, headers, full exhaust, and dyno tuned on the bottle.

No not really. I haven't done anything except replace a tire with a nail in it and use some SeaFoam after pumping some bad gas.

You were about to get a PM with about 100 questions and picture demands...until I read the end of your post. lol

I used to do stuff to our vehicles on a weekly basis, but then we kept the only reliable car we had and moved into an apartment. I miss my garage.

    Rolled over 100,000 miles today.
Got a very slow leak in a tire, so I add air once a week.

I just ordered some new brake rotors for the Rx8. One has been warped for over a year and I finally got tired of listening to the soft little thump-thump-thumps

I had a look down there and it seems that it may actually be a sensor issue. I had broken the plastic clip trying to undo it with a screwdriver (which is usually how the clips are supposed to be undone). so the cable sits snugly on it but doesn't have a method of preventing it from backing out. I haven't had any issues with it for 15K miles and after re-connecting the plug and re-setting the battery I still get the CEL. This makes me pretty sure it's the sensor itself and not just a bad connection. We'll see here in the next few days. I've also been considering new control arm bushings...

My wife had an 05, so I agree they look nice, but I hate them with a passion... Even though Mazda shipped us a new engine from japan. No joke.
Mine is probably due for a new engine. Something like 112k on the clock... This ain't my first Wankel, so I know the drill ;)

While I love wrenching on vintage military vehicles which are the epitome of simplicity I refuse to work on anything that needs an ECM to run so I purchase the extended warranty and let the dealership hassle with the stupid thing.
