Ordered a HVAC Control Panel from Rock Auto, should be here tomorrow.
Fan only blows on high, but that is better than nothing.
Watched a utube video, should only take a few minutes to change out.

I thought it odd when I topped out the jack and the tires were still on the ground.

Then I saw that gap and thought what the hell?

Bolt showed no wear at all.

New trailer has torsion axles so it should fare better.
Torsion axles on trailers ride softer and last much longer, but when they're done, they're done. It's like not having any spring or flex in the suspension system at all. Cheapest and easiest fix at that point is new axles.

Dang trailer again. Telling me September for the new one and I'm ready.

Broken shackles made me see this thing. I guess about 80k miles running heavy over crap roads is just too much for it.

I got 400 dollars of weather tech floor mats and trunk liners for the expedition.

All free cause I had my ford passpoints.

    Free is good.

Still got about 80 bucks left and I think I will get something dallas cowboys related. Maybe hitch cover or something.

    How about that free shit.

Pulled the rear wheels off the work truck. Tires needed replacing but also have a squeak in the brakes somewhere.

Figured it would be easier to just load them up and drop them off so I didn't have to wait there. Discount wouldn't let me mess with the brakes while in their shop anyways.

Plus the batteries are on their way out so that's on the docket next. Didn't want it to not start somewhere since I had multiple stops to make.

Grease the back of the pads and put it back together. Then probably have to jump it to run it to O'Reilly's for batteries.

Can you tell which spring is the Add-a-Leaf I recently installed?

Replaced one of my LED headlamp bulbs. This is a two led bulb and one side was no longer working. Even with only half of it working the light was brighter than standard halogen headlamps.

Finally got around to replacing the ignition on the Bonnie that some piece of shit destroyed. While I was at it I took off the speedo/tach because one of speedo leds has been flickering. Not a difficult job but a pain since I live in an apartment now. Dragging tools to the garage and not having a garage stool to sit on while working. First world problems

Replaced tires and batteries on Tacoma and Subaru. They were over 4 years old. Had plenty tread left but cracks were developing between the treads. Battery on each vehicle seemed to fail with summer heat. I'd rather do things like this at home than on the road.

I hope you bought a different brand of tires this time. I had the same problem with BF Goodrich tires. Cracks between the tread and on the sidewalls after only 5 years. Low mileage on the tires, around 5 to 6k. Discount tire did give me a good proration based on remaining tread.

Tires were the originals from factory. Replaced with better brand from Sam's Club.

Tires lube themselves but you have to use them for it to work.

Daughter hit a deer in her Renegade a while back. No major damage but you know how these modern plastic vehicles are.

Zip ties to the rescue to fix the broken brackets on the headlight, fog light, and general plastic trim mounts.

Daytime running light bulb replaced and what appears to be a bunch of snot (algae I'm guessing) rinsed out of the windshield washer jug and filter. It wouldn't even spray it was so gunked up.

Tahoe was leaking oil on my driveway. I loaned it to someone to pull a trailer and as a thank you tjey had my oil changed. Turns out they didn’t tighten the drain plug correctly.

Got it tightened. Threw kitty litter on the oil
    Slick.

In the past I've sanded and clear coated sun faded headlights but picked up this kit to try on our '05 Pathfinder.

I have to say I'm very impressed with how it turned out. The headlights are like new. I don't think my DIY attemps have ever gotten them this clear.

Plus there is enough product there to do at least 5 sets of lights.

Takes longer to tape off the paint than it does to treat the lights.

If you need to restore your headlights I highly recommend this kit.

Didn't take any before shots but will get some after shots later today.

Helped a member of our local club replace his MAP sensor. The dealer was going to charge $200 for the part, and another $400 or so for the labor

The MAP is $25 on Amazon, but found it locally faster for $38. Took maybe 1.5 hrs of labor not including our screwing around.
