Pulled off the older well used tool box off the 2008 shit box and sold it on FBMP for $50

Found a much nicer one listed for $200
Went and looked at it and it was missing the 5/16 ball stud bolts that hold one of the lid shocks..why did someone rob those off of that box for I'll never understand..and it didn't have keys

    Offered $180 and got it
Went to a locksmith shop and they made 2 new keys for $16
And found the studs at O..O..O..O'Reilly for $5.86

Stopped at Lowes for some J hooks and it got it on and working good.

Now to start filling it up with junk tools!
Congrats on the upgrade. Junk tools pretty much describes my entire arsenal. I don’t make money with my tools; I save money by using them.

Same brand as your other one?
    Nope
    My 2020 has a weathergard
This truck had a no name generic box..the one I found has a GM sticker inside it so it was a GM Accessory I guess.
    It's a good quality box

Yep! ...plus Trans Am, Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, International GT, and Prototype Sprint. Lot going on. It used to be mostly the vintage racing, but there's less of that every year. Dunno if they are prioritizing the other series or there's just less vintage entries.

I usually pit for one of the Formula teams. Missed this year due to travel. Double bummed now!

After I paid $6200 to fix my 2020 Chevy 5.3 shitbox with 92k miles
I figured out how to make sure I wouldn't have any further engine issues with it.
People are starting to become more aware of the horrible lifter/AFM/DFM system on GMs
I think it will definitely impact the resale market soon on these trucks so I decided to get out of it now

Behold the new Ram 2500 4X4

You Ram-Cummins guys never told me about the secret nod/waive thing..but now that I have one I'm getting the inside nod 2 fingers up on the steering wheel waive ...lol

Got a repair estimate on the old Camry. Last Wednesday, it was hit in the back quarter panel in a parking lot, and of course the driver didn’t stick around. Two days later, it was hit in the front while parked on the street. Again, the fuqures didn’t stick around. The back is just paint damage, so I’ll chalk that up to character marks, but the front crunched in the fender where there’s interference with the tire on moderate bumps. That, I gotta have fixed.

In the 70's I had a Volkswagen Beetle, three different times the same rear fender got dented while parked at a mall. Three times I paid to get it fixed, I think it was $30 each time. Collision place I used couldn't believe it when I brought it back to be fixed. Then one morning when I was going to work I walked out to the street and the car was pushed back about 10 feet and the front end was crashed in. Insurance paid for that one, about $1,200.

Buddy had a Buick Regal with T tops back in the day. His fiance had totaled it and he bought it to repair though I don't recall what was initially fixed. Multiple hit and runs in Dallas caused even more damage. We replaced both doors, one fender and the hood over time due to multiple wrecks. Those parts were $25 to $50 from junk yards right across the border in Oklahoma. We'd hang them from a willow tree and shoot them with a can of primer. The doors were a bitch to install and align due to their weight though.
