I finally got the 20" pencil barrel for my M16A1 clone build. Also found a guy to anodize the upper once i get it smoothed out. Just a hand full of parts left and it's go time!

It's 1:12 twist chrome lined with a proper A1 height pinned front post. The barrel is made by Green Mountain, sight post pinned by TNTE.

Here's a little mock up. Talking to a guy about a getting an original M16 furniture set. I've got the Brownell's replica set on there now. Also need to pick up some 20 round metal mags.

Any reason why you went with the 1/12? If you got a 1/9 you could shoot the 62 grain bullets as well. I like the m16a1 clones. It’s just the barrel twist that keeps me away.

Picked up a 1934 M91/30 Tula Mosin Nagant today. Now my WWII collection consists of an M1 Carbine, M1 Garand, and M91/30. Up next is an M1911A1, 2x M1903s (one will be turned into a USMC sniper replica), a K98, and a Type 99 Arisaka.

Can’t bring the M91/30 inside of my apartment due to my contract, but I’ll take more photos when I move into my new place this weekend.

Haha. No, comrade. I signed my lease before the state stopped allowing apartments to ban possession of firearms on their premises.
Sorry - I'm a bit confused. The state used to allow it? Or the ban ability was allowed and the state stopped that ability? I honestly didn't know this was a thing.

    Welcome, by the way!

In Texas, apartments cannot prevent you from exercising basic rights on property you control.

    I.e.
30.07 is enforceable, but 30.06 is not
They cannot enforce "no firearms" in YOUR apartment and you could sue for them trying.
