Got one of these today for use as a Range Bag. Normally it’s sold as a Tool Bag so I’m thinking it should hold the weight okay. We’ll see how it holds up; for $23 I’m not out a lot if it doesn’t. (Comes with a carry shoulder strap too).

Stop bragging big spender. Lol. Hopefully you didn't pay gunbroker prices
No GunBroker prices, online dealer for the 500 rounds and Attwoods for the 100 9mm. Still high priced though.

Wait until you see ammo prices, if any ammo is actually available, if Biden wins and or if the Senate is taken by the dems and or if China declares war or pulls a sneak attack beyond the one they already pulled off with COVID-19.

I won't have to look at ammo prices for some time if I choose not to. I have at least 3k rounds each in 5.56 NATO, 7.62 NATO, 7.62 Russian, 9mm, .45acp, .357 mag and .38, and tens of thousands of .22. I recently had my hot water heater break in my garage. I had to rent a small portable storage shed to put my ammo in while the insurance company and repair people were here. Didn't want any record of the amount of ammo I have on hand to get out to anyone else coming around. Half a days job just to move it all. I am older, slower and partly handicapped so slow and easy gets the job done now days.

Got my Brownells Nodak Spud M16A1 receiver. It's an exact copy of an early M16A1, it even uses the large front takedown pin. The upper is an original Colt M16A1 with the teardrop forward assist. I've also got an original non tapered delta ring inbound. The rest of the parts for the upper are new from Colt except for the bolt carrier group which I haven't decided on yet. For the lower I have an ALG trigger group and mil spec CMMG lower build set except for the large front pin which is from Brownells. Now the barrel, here I'm just not doing well. I started collecting parts before this whole covid mess and I was still unable to secure a new 20" pencil barrel. Every order I've placed for one has been canceled due to no stock, I'm thinking I might just use a government profile, might not be correct but, I want to assemble and shoot this thing. I still have hope that the one vendor that didn't cancel my order will come through. I'll be restoring the Colt upper receiver to try and match the lower. Anyway, I'm one more part closer to starting this build.

    250 PMC 2-3/4" 12ga #4 Buckshot from SG Ammo - $16.00 shipping
SG Ammo arrived via UPS today. Pretty snappy shipping. It's going on the pile but I'm keeping a couple boxes out to see what 4 buck looks like in a pattern from the Tac-13. That is if I ever recover it from the bottom of Lake Conroe. Haven't fired #4 buckshot - ever.

I just saw one of those "garage sale planted on the roadside" signs from Ranger Firearms saying they have ammo here in San Antonio. Never been there, but might be worth checking out if you need some

I needed another ammo cabinet and this popped up on Craigslist from an estate that had to cut the combination lock out to get in. Latch still works to close the door. Makes a good ammo cabinet as it is very heavy duty. Very similar to the first one. First one cost me $20 and this one was free. I keep all the bulk stuff only in the other one. Spent the morning stocking this one up.

At the rate ammo prices are going up, pretty soon the contents of the ammo cabinet will be worth more than the contents of the gun safe.

Got these Lyman dies on another site for a song because the sizers are steel. The parts are still in the wrapper.

    I don't even own a gun in .44 yet.

Picked up a sig kilo 2200 bdx range finder. Honestly, the verdict is still out. I have been messing around with it for a couple hours now. I was getting some crappy pairing with the app and the unit was locking me out. It was also in a upgrade firmware loop for like an hour.. When it works it seems to be OK so far. I will give it a rip tomorrow at work during the day.

Hopefully this weekend I can get to the range to ping those targets out past the 500 berm. This particular unit should give ballistic solutions out to 800 yards.

I will give a full update when it gets back. I could never get it to work more than once. Had to send it in.

    1. Order and wait 2 weeks to get it due to rona rush.
    2. Mail back home (on their dime) expect 3 to 5 week turn due to rona.
    3. Curse 2020.
