Thanks for the heads up, I'll definitely try one first. I'm guessing the Shield is probably just a bit too small for it's own good. I'll probably end up with the 2.0 compact then. I'm definitely not looking for a backup gun.

For me, the difference is all in the grip. Don’t get me wrong; the Shield is a good option in it’s category.

Thought I would follow up on the Wilson Combat barrel for the M&P 2.0. After today's range session it's clear that absolutely no fitting to the barrel is required on this gun. It ran flawless, no ftf's nothing, dead reliable as before. I think the 19lb. recoil spring is the sweet spot too, although I may try an 18lb. spring just to see. The pistol just feels right, that's the best I can explain it. I highly recommend the Wilson Barrel if you're looking to upgrade a full size M&P 2.0 or earlier pistol.

Even my hamfisted pistol shooting improved with this barrel. 10yds, American Eagle 124 grain ball on the vital dude target. Talk to the Dude! The upper head shots were to see if I could put the bullet where I wanted, I can. My rear sight came loose later in the session so I'll have to break out the Loctite and have another try at setting it. By the way I set the sights up neutral and it's right on target.

A few double taps and semi rapid fire, speed shooting is not allowed at Point Blank range.

Nice, fits-like-a-glove kydex holster for my PMR30. I was surprised to find one so easily.

Made by a guy at Outlaw Trux & Gun Emporium in Conroe. Out on 105. Nice guys to deal with.

B5 Systems SOPMOD Bravo stock, pistol grip and trigger guard. All in Wolf Gray.

Next is to order LPK from Sons of Liberty Gunworks. Haven’t decided on upper yet, deciding between a few.
