0326161615.jpg Bought this Mossberg 12 gauge on April 1st (no fooling). Shot about a dozen rounds of 00 buckshot, found it can probably make a very big hole in a home invader.

I've had and sold a couple dedicated .22 military profile rifles including a Colt AR-22 and a SIG522.
Both functioned semi-adequately but felt a little toy-like and needed high velocity ammo to be fairly reliable.
Unreliable function with subsonic like Gemtech with my Sparrow can was the reason they went bye-bye at the show.

I recently bought a dedicated 22lr upper by DPMS for $399

I cannot tell you how pleased I am.
It slaps right on an standard AR-15. Have tried it on my Colt, Ruger and Spikes so far.
I like the spikes best due to the marvelous LaRue MBT target trigger in it and the full size target stock.

It eats absolutely everything I've fed it.
Most pleasingly it cycles flawlessly with 3 typed of subsonic ammo. Considering it has a 1/2x28 thread for my Sparrow suppressor I'm thrilled.
    I can clap louder.
The thing has the look and feel and all-metal build and balance of a true M4 style upper.

    Love it!!

It lands at the FFL today! Been wanting one if these, just because.

    10-22!
Seems like a lot of value for the money.

I wonder if it's possible to "wear one out"?
    Doubtful.

I recently bought one of the little 15 round factory mags. Like it a lot.
Easier that the 10s to get in and out and the 25s stick out so far, though 25 is a lot of shooting!

I got a used Sig P239 9mm SAS Gen II with two holsters, the original case, magazines, manual and both stock and Hogue rubber grips, built in March of 2013, Now, more range time is needed....

ps, who's got the best deal on 9mm ammo right now?

    DFW area

Something very basic primal about the 239.

9mm is, arguably, the best all around round in the known universe.
It fits perfectly in my hand.
The controls, the decocker, the classic lines.

FWIW I love hammer guns like yours. Striker-fired guns just lack something.

    It's perfect.

    Shoot it lots.
